Transformational Stories From Our Readers

Please use this blog as a place to share your insights and transformations. Although I want this blog to be about your experience and journey – if there is some specific meditation, idea, or product you found here that helped you create a transformation in your life, please share specifically what worked for you, so that others can find their way to it. Your growth and your journey can be an inspiration to others.

Every step upon the path is important. Each event on our journey offers its own challenges and its own blessings. Everyone has the potential to teach us something. The slightest insight or understanding can lighten the burden for others. We are all in the adventure of life together and, more alike than different. This blog site is being offered to provide the opportunity for what you are learning in life to be a beacon of light to others. Please share what you have found to be most helpful, so others may find their way to it. This section of the website is devoted to giving you the chance to share your growth with others on the path. It is my hope that this blog becomes a way you can connect and share, as we all light the way for one another.

I was deeply wounded. The most significant relationship of my life, that had begun twenty five years ago had come to an unexpected end, and with, it my family life was in pieces. A spiritual awakening had been the catalyst for this. I had never meant it to ruin my life. I am a lover of unity and worked hard all my life for it.

I originally met Genevieve over Skype to discuss a children’s book I wanted to develop. During that conversation she lovingly mentioned to me that there were lots of wounds in my emotional body. There was something in the way she said it, both matter of fact and gentle, that allowed me to instantly see and feel this on an energetic level. It was as if small beautiful triangles of light, like the colours refracted through a prism, were lying in my auric field like a shattered crystal, each shard suspended as if a wonderful explosion of light had been seized, frozen in a trauma.

As soon as I was able to feel this, I became playful. I asked those little triangles of light to find a better position in which to lie. Those little triangles seemed very obliging. My entire auric field became smoother. I was no longer a Swarovski hedgehog!

Then Genevieve suggested I worked with one of her visualisations ‘feeling free’. The first day I worked with it, I realised I had never done anything like this before. Yet it also felt familiar. Intuitively, I began to remember something I would do as a child when I was daydreaming. I would play with and imagine colours bringing energies into my body. As I worked with her visualisation I became aware that this work was pretty special. It was charged with very precise geometries in terms of its form, dimensions, movements, rhythm. The energetic changes carried in the visualisation through shape, colour and flow were all directed by my imagination, my intention and the current of my breathing. So I paid attention to her voice, and let my whole being follow an experience that felt like a three dimensional abstract painting of light unfold. It was like taking a bath in the sky among the stars and the aurora borealis. It was uncannily close to the experience of who I really am.

At the end of the meditation I cried for about forty minutes. The emotional release was tremendous. I continued to work with the visualisation. Light, colour, breath, emotion, transmutation. Tears. And so for three days. Till everything I had held back for eighteen months came out. I am a rather dynamic explosive person, so everyone nearby knew about what was going on. And then it dissolved. It was out. Gone. It was time to stand up. A new clarity emerged. In fact a vision came with it. I had in the space of no more than five days found an emotional freedom that I hadn’t felt since I was seventeen years old. That’s what I call magic. There are dimensions of our own being, we all can access that will reinforce us with the wonder and grace of our true spiritual reality.

Genevieve works directly with beauty and at the same time her words convey the depth of suffering and transformation that this woman has achieved with a particular grace, detachment and humour. Her pioneering work is in a nutshell, a 40 year journey in which she has succeeded in translating esoteric knowledge to real life environments to make deep lasting change – simple and available to anyone.

You really make it seem so simple to express your transformation but I find it really hard to see my own changes and put it to pen. It seems too complicated and very broad for me. I am looking forward to your next blog post.

  • Amos Dunnam:

Thanks a lot for the original blog post Arlette. We would love an update. Much thanks again.

  • Arlette George:

woosh..I really had no idea that people had read this story. your comments are lovely, encouraging. Since working with the “Feeling Free” track from Meditations For Daily Joy, I’ve also used “Wheel of Fire” which was so effective that I thought I must have done something wrong – so i tried it again – and there we were – it worked a second time too! I like “Wheel of Fire” so much, I want someone to design the graphic.

“Mindful Meetings” didn’t get me what i wanted yet but it did get me onto the path closer to the dream. “Heart of the Family” is so simple, and in about one day we had peace on earth, well ok, not quite. Yet the proof of what is possible became evident within a couple of days, by the simple delight we found in our own company out and about in the Scottish highlands.

My kind of joy – it gets to the heart fast.

  • Papeke:

Testimonials

“Genevieve Gerard is a very gifted spiritual teacher. Her "Meditations for Daily Joy" is truly a heartfelt creative work of advanced consciousness. I especially enjoyed her Feeling Free Meditation in which she teaches a powerful breath and awareness visualization for transforming feelings. She has a very soothing and comforting speaking voice which also contributes beautifully to her work.” – www.Amazon.com Review

“Thank you so much for showing me the way, I will never be the same!”

“Relaxation techniques are a must for our hectic life!”

“By now everyone should realize how much meditation can have a positive affect on your daily life.”

"With so many "sleep" tapes in the market today, it's hard to know what to get if you want something to help you relax and sleep. Generally speaking, the message is the same--relax, let go, visualize, etc.

However, Sleep in Heavenly Peace by Genevieve Gerard stands out from other tapes I've listened to. Her voice is kind and calm and her words are well chosen and clear. What I really appreciate is the "space" she allows between sentences. Her pauses are perfectly placed and the listener has time to actually repeat, reflect, refresh.

If you are looking for a gentle relaxing experience, check out Sleep in Heavenly Peace."
